Hi there. My dr. appt. is in a week and I am wondering if there is anything I can take in conjunction with my daily zoloft for when I am having a really rough time. Something that is non-addictive and works immediatly to calm anxiety or depression. If you all know of anything please let me know so I can ask my doc. Thanks all.

An anti-anxiety drug like a benzo (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, Klonopin) is often prescribed with anxiety disorders and depression in junction with an anti-depressant.
Whatever you do, don't go in there asking for them by name or asking for them directly. This is drug seeking behavior and the doctor might take it the wrong way and not prescribe you anything. Just causally mention your anxiety and that it is effecting your normal day to day living and functioning if it is.
The doc will probably be more likely to prescribe you something for the your anxiety until the anti-depressant starts to work. Good luck
