I have been on celexa for about 4 years. It was orignally prescribed to me for panic disorder. It worked well at first but for about the last year I have noticed my panic attacks increasing. about 6 weeks ago I decieded to try and taper off the celexa cutting out 5 mg every couple of weeks or so. I am stuck now at 10 mg and feel like I have malaria or something. I can't get out of bed in the morning if I could I would sleep about 20 hrs a day. I have muscle achs and it feels like I have a really bad flu. I have been on 10 mg now for about 3 weeks and I don't know what to do. It doesn't seem like it will ever pass. Spoke to the Dr and wants to switch me over to prozac temporarily. Has anyone else had this agony trying to get off this med please respond. Thank you
