I've been on 50 mg Seroquel for quite a while for dissociation and visual illusions (in addition to 225 mg Effexor)... but it was making me like a zombie, gave me suicidal thoughts and memory loss. So I decided to quit yesterday.
Sleep was good, and I feel much more awake right now but I dread how I might feel over the next few days.
Has anybody ever gone cold turkey on it? Did you get any nasty effects?

Hello Camille,
By your name you seem to be a french canadian (as i am), aren't you?
Dans l'affirmative, il serait agréable de te contacter via email car mon anglais fait dur en maudit.
Bye, Eric alias Maximus.

Hi Camille,
The only side effects i get from Seroquel (25 mg to 50 mg) are mainly sedation (great for insomnia) and hypotension (for a runner and bodybuilder it is quite dreaded).
> Has anybody ever gone cold turkey on it? Did you get any nasty effects? For the last 6 months, i've been on and off seroquel for a couple of times without any side effects, except may be a rebound of insomnia.
Bye.

Salut Cyber,
P.S to Dr.Bob: It was my last sentence in french:-) Thank you!
Good luck to you Cyber!

It's fine to post in French, but if you do, could you reset the "language" indicator appropriately? That way, the translation system is more likely to work.
Also, OT posts should be redirected to Psycho-Social-Babble. Thanks,
Bob
