If you take 10 mg's of Lexapro daily, do you get a compounding effect of the medicine? In other words, let's say you take 10 mg's on Monday morning at (whatever time, say 8:00). When you take Tuesday's 10 mg at 8:00, you've still got some of Monday's Lexapro in your system. Doesn't this dosage compound over time? Thanks!

Lexapro has a half-life of 27-32 hours so when you take the next day`s dose you have over half the previous day`s dose still active plus some from earlier days. After a few days though you will reach a steady state and that will be quite stable.
