Don't tell me you finaly got your hands on some abilify?!?

Holucinations for the first couple of hours. 4mg shouldn't be too bad. Are you taking it with zyprexa? Anxiety, unrested sleep, lack of sleep, weird taste of food, . Have you already taken some today, I just noticed that you posted last night. Hope it goes well. I'm dieing to know, keep me posted. You also might feel the need to not sit still.

hey Sebastion,
I actually have samples--I guess I should feel lucky, but I'm too scared to try it after reading about all the agitation people are getting.

My doctor of course said it had the mildest side effect profile of almost any drug out there.

dude i got like 8 sample packs!!

yeah i'll take with zyprexa cuz i know it will take a while to build up in your blood stream and keep you stable.... also! i want to try to take it with zyprexa to see if i can get zyprexa's laziness-inducing properties to offset abilify's agitation properties... and only once i feel confident that it's safe to take abilify with zyprexa will i venture forth into the unknown of taking abilify on it's own, all alone, and akathisia prone

>weird taste of food, . Have you already taken some today, I just noticed that you posted last night. Hope it goes well. I'm dieing to know, keep me posted. You also might feel the need to not sit still.

ummm.... i had a blood test done when i was taking parnate and feeling motivated...
so now i actually want to get a blood test done to check my hormone levels in this screwed up lazy-apathetic-no-libido state and compare them...

but i slept 18 hours today (!) so i missed the opportunity to get the blood test done............. so i'll have to get it done (and start abilify) tomorrow

man this is exciting :)

Have you talked to your doctor about how much you sleep? I'm suprised that you take such a small dose and still sleep for 18 hours. How long have you been taking zyprexa, still though.

This Abilify might actualy be a good think for you!

My suggestion to you is that you take a small dose. Less than what the pills are, like half. Till you get used to it, they are strong! I tried cutting a 15mg in 4, and still noticed strong effects.

Why did you decide to take Abilify? Other meds too tiering? What dose are they? Are you going to keep taking the other meds, or instantly replace them. I found it to work better to ease into one and out of the other, Half and half.

I have taken more meds than Anyone Ever.
(ok, I know there are a *few* of us...)
Nothing works, or else I have intolerable side effects.

Enter: Abilify.

I'm too scared to try it! After I read all these people having agitating side effects I added it to the sea of never used meds at the back of my closet.

Maybe I will take one out and meditate on it. Then I will split it in half, and then in half again. (but they're so small to begin with). And I'll make sure I have a sleeping pill. I guess I'm a little curious.

How has it helped you? Did it do something other meds couldn't for you?

Kara Lynne

I hated the Abilify! It made me anxious(like crazy), big lack of sleep(unrested sleep). Its "my" last suggestion. I think I would take no medicine befor the Abilify.
