What is the difference bt these two things? Also, does anyone know which of these provigil acts on? I seem to respond well to norepinephrine enhancement but I cant figure out if noradrenaline is something I should look at as a possibility as well
thanks

Provigil is an agonist of alpha-1 adrenergic receptors - a receptor that norepinephrine normally acts on. Provigil has been shown to increase the release of glutamate, histamine and serotonin. Glutamate and histamine are very important chemicals in arousal/wakefulnes. It also has WEAK ability to inhibit dopamine reuptake.

I personally found it quite easy to sleep on provigil, at doses of 100-400 mg/day. But that's just me. What dose are you taking, and at what time of day?
