Dear all,
I would like to know is Generic bupropion (Wellbutrin SR) available? Wellbutrin is too costly for me. I could not afford it. However, I do want to try it, for Prozac (Nopres, generic fluoxetine) has caused me too much fatigue, though it does relieve my thought of commiting suicide.

To my knowledge as of date, Wellbutrin SR is not available as a generic in the USA or Canada.
Have you tried any others besides Prozac?

Generic bupropion is available, just not in a SR form. When I was on it, I had to take it 3x a day. It was a pain in the buttocks but much cheaper than Brand Name Wellbutrin SR (sustained release).
