No, but i would be most interested! i'll have to talk to my doc about it.

Heh, substance P has a cool name... if anyone doesn't know, it is called substance P, P for Pain, because it is involved in pain perception. There was a book by Philip K. Dick that involved an extaordinarily addictive drug called substance D, D for Death ("A Scanner Darkly")... i'd bet that the scientists who discovered substance P must have been sci-fi fans.

I thought about it but it costs 250 dollars for three pills.

I think I have the worst of all worlds. Concurrent mixed states Bipolar depression and disabling fibromyalgia. So even though I'm revving and pacing, I'm doing it all in my mind because I can't move from bed when a flare hits. So, I would be very interested in stories on Substance P antagonists. SP shows up at 3-6 times normal values in fibromyalgics, sensitizing not only the body's pain perception, but 'inflaming' the brain as well.

Well, there goes that idea. I assume if it is approved for depression, it will have to be cheaper per pill. Which, for all you conspiracy theorists may just be an incentive to slow down and make money on its current approved use.
