Hey, I wonder if anyone can help me ?
I have been taking 50mg of trazodone to sleep for a while now, but during the day I always feel really sick and out of it...do you think this could be because of the Trazodone ?
I think I may reduce the dose to 25mg and see if that helps or not. Anybody else had a similar experience or know someone that has ? Its a good sleep aid other than that!

Oh yes, I get that from Trazadone at 100mgs - it's an awful feeling. I've tried lowering the dosage but then I don't sleep!
Hopefully the 25mg will work for you. :-)

When I first started taking Trazadone to help me sleep years ago, I had to cut my dosage in half for awhile. Until the side effects faded, I wouldn't be able to hardly walk a straight line if I had to get up during the night. I usually woke up feeling fine from it though.
What do you take during the day?

The second most common reason is that it doesn't work for some people.

any of you tried melatonin for sleep? I took 3mg of melatonin and 2 calcium/magnesium pills last night and fell asleep a lot quicker than usual (probably took me about 45 minutes v. 4 hours+ of just lying in bed).
I'm going to try it again tonight and see if that was just beginner's luck.
This is the end of the thread.
