Tomorrow I add 100mg of Wellbutrin along with my present 10mg. Fluoxetine. Does anyone have any experience with this combo...hopefully some good experiences. :)

Hey Edge- I do have some success to share with you. I do take Prozac 40mg. I have been on it since Nov. with not much change in my depression. About a month or so my pdoc added WB 100mg to the mix. He gave me samples so if I didn't like it I could stop. Wow such a huge improvment. I felt it the first day I tried it. Warning if you are prone to anxiety, you may have some when you start but for me it went away after about a week. I used 0.25 mg Xanex like every other day for it. Anyway I really feel that this is my drug combo I will be on for a while. I can honestly say since I started the WB I have only had one bad day. I was having about 5 out of 7 bad days before. Well hope I helped ya. Good Luck. Let us know how it is going.

Thanks Jill, you do not know how glad I was to read your posting!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've taken 100mg. of Wellbutrin today, along with .5mg Ativan. I will definitely keep you posted on my progress. I'm believing that this is the combo.

Just wanted you to know that I'm doing well on this combo :) Are you taking this combo. for anxiety and depression? Do you think just taking the Wellbutrin alone would give you the same positive effect?

I don't know if only the WB would work on its own for me? I might ask my pdoc in a couple of months to go down on the Prozac and eventually get off it. I did have anxiety a bit ago, when I first started the Prozac in Nov. I have had a bit since the WB, but not much. You? I am glad you are doing good on the combo.

I'm still in the beginning stages with this Wellbutrin SR, so I take .5mg of Ativan in the morning before taking the Wellbutrin. I found that this prevents me from feeling anxious. About how many weeks did it take before you felt that the Wellbutrin was working? Thanks again for your help.

Sounds weird, but I felt it right away. I was having alot of problems feeling so lethargic so that was probabaly why I felt it.
