Does it take a real high dose to respond to Marplan (for those who did get a response to it as an antidepressant)?

Just joined the group so FWIW..a VERY late reply... I take Marplan and love it. Have taken both Nardil and Parnate in the past, and this works best for me. Only side effects are the dread carb craving, and a sleep problem that may be due to my Lyme disease, not Marplan...
Anyway, the answer for me at least, is no, it doesn't take a large amount at all for a response. My pdoc had me on 30mg a day and I am actually going down to 10 mgs odd numbered days and 20 mgs even numbered days after realizing I was only really taking it every other day.
