Hello all ...
I haven't posted for awhile, just moved out of state and it's been crazy.I just saw a commercial for a "non-addictive," "all-natural" supplement called "Valitrin" that claims to give a sense of well-being and euphoria without needing a prescription ... definitely sounds suspicious to me, but was wondering if anyone's ever heard of it.
I found their website -- it's www.valitrin.com
(sorry, couldn't figure out how to make it a link.)Would love some feedback on this! Thanks in advance,
cindy

Hi Cindylou. I just went to the website to check it out. It mentions that this stuff is herbal, but there is no mention of what the ingredients actually are It could be a combination of valerian, kava kava, hops, scullcap, etc. . products such as these can be found in health food stores in combinations that are said to reduce stress and promote peaceful feelings. I have never found any major relief from these kinds of products.
I am curious about what the ingredients are for this product, but I am also skeptical, especially since the website is so vague.

if you could get "euphoria" from a health food store, why would people waste their time, money, health with things like cocaine ????

Hi Hildi,
Thanks for looking into it ... I'm with you as far as not trusting the stuff. I'm kind of amazed at the gall the company has to produce such a commercial and website, but give no info. on the ingredients.Oh well ... thanks for your time on this!

Hi there, well like you all I also saw the infomercial for valitrin. It says you can get a free refund if it does not work, so I bought it and will give it a try. I live in Canada so It will probably take a couple of weeks to get it. I will let you know in a month or so if it really works or not.

CindyLou,
It has been a while since you asked about Valitrin but I found out from the company what the supplement contains.
Ingredients:
Valerian
Passion Flower
Black Cohosh
White Willow Bark
Hops
ChamomileI don't know if it is an effective supplement but there is a supplement that is similar to Valitrin that is half the price. It is called Great Mood EZ made by www.duplipharmresearch.com.
Has anyone benefited from Valitrin in this discussion group?

Because of the money back guarantee, my husband ordered it and tried it. He didn't notice (nor did I notice it in him) any effect. I did, however read the label and note that the mg of all herbs included are lower than the amounts you can get from herb cap you can purchase at a much lower cost. In my opinion, this is just another way overpriced gimmick product. We did send back the remaining product as directed and got the money back. (always use a credit card, and do exactly as the guarantee requires).
This is the end of the thread.
