any unusual weight loss on Effexor?

Posted by fayeroe on February 27, 2003, at 16:00:16

I have lost a ton of weight recently. I've been on Effexor for about one year. I have no appetite but force myself to eat. I am not sleeping well either. Anyone else that is experiencing this? I've lost 35 pounds. And I am very small so it really shows...people comment on how I look...thin and tired. Help!

Have you talked to your doctor about this, and is not sleeping well because of anxiety? You could try lowering your dose a bit, and/or adding Clonazepam which is great for sleep and anxiety. John.

Yes, I lost about a pound a week on Effexor and Effexor with Wellbutrin combo. I gained about a pound a week on Remeron. I feel like a yo-yo.
