Typing down here, our posts are getting to high up. So what you are saying is I could take the Topamax, Lamictal, Zoloft AND Remeron together and possibly lose weight in the mean time? I have never taken Topamax, what is it like? Is there something you could compare it to I might be familiar with? Have you ever taken it? Do most people lose weight on it? I have heard that side effect mentioned before.

Oh no, what I was wondering about was possibly *replacing* the Elavil with the Topamax to see if you can use it as a sleeper and to help out your Lamictal as a mood stablizer. Some folks have gotten insomnia from TOP, but I slept like a log on it (and it helped anxiety too). I just can't handle sedative meds very well, that's all. ANY of them!

I am going to ask her about the Topamax on Friday. I am also going to ask her if taking a small dose of Remeron would still cause the weight issues. Geez, Friday can't come fast enough, I am miserable.

That sounds interesting. FWIW, I found Remeron to provoke *hunger* about as equally bad at any dose. I would try the TOPamax swap with the Elavil first before you jump back on a Remeron add.
This is the end of the thread.
