brain zap?

Posted by mopey on February 23, 2003, at 19:21:11

Hi. I just had a most awful, weird feeling in my head, adn I'm wondering if it was an imfamous "brain zap" that I've heard people talk about here.

Was in the center of the top front of my head, and felt like the popping your ear does after it's been blocked for a while.

Last night I took 5 mg of Nortriptyline but it made my heart race (I know, it's supposed to be sedating), so doc said not to take more today. It was the first time I'd tried that med.

What do you think?

Thanks...

no takers?

Well, I'm surprised! Thought someone would have some thoughts for me...

And look, now I'm talking to myself...

Well, I don't want you to feel that you're talking to yourself. But I don't know about the nor.
I had the zaps when taking myself off of zoloft--a zap and oh so much more, every inclination or movement of the head resulted in them.
But I'm afraid that I can't add anything more. I have been getting the head rushes that others have talked about in the Lexapro thread though.
Sorry I can't add more.

This is the end of the thread.
