Hello,
I'm sorry, I know seems this is pretty obvious but I'm really not sure if it happens on everyone. I have to take 5mg but I'm terrified as I'm already overweight :(
I'm not even sure if this medication is for me. I was on Zoloft (still on it) and now this new doctor gave me this and...I don't know, I'm desperate.....Paxil, Prozac, Zoloft...which should I take? is zyprexa really for me? am I going nuts? :( Some doctors are really rude and tragic...I don't think I'm going nuts but they sometimes make me feel like that. Oh well, I don't want to bother you with this...just wanted to ask you if I'm going to gain loads of weight for taking a package of 14 pills of zyprexa 5mg? I mean, I've read you gain a LOT and really FAST. I'm terrified, I don't want any new problem in my life :(thank you so much!! all my love,

> Fernanda.-HI there Fernanda. GOODLuck with the Zyprexa. I would take 2.5 mgs of it, therefore lowering the risk of unusual weight gain
Its strong stuff!
You might do wonderfully at 2.5 and just keep an eye on the Scale haha!

Hi Fernanda,
Everyone's reaction to Zyprexa is different. I didn't gain any weight at all on it, and I got all the way up to 40 mg! This is a very good med and I hope that you will give it a try!

I took it and I gained 30 lbs in 3 months.
Did any of you have any memory problems too because
I did, that's why I don't recommend this drug.

Yes it does! I gain over 55 lbs in less than 9 months on this drug. It was awful and it did not help me at all actually made some matters worse. Now on Lexapro and Wellbutrin combined and I have lost 15 lbs since November and feeling great!
