I recently started Effexor about 2 weeks ago, currenlty on 75mg. Does anyone know how long the GI (gastrointestinal) side effects last? Does it go away with treatment? Other than that I think it's working great despite a lot of negative reactions people have reported. thanks in advance.

In 6 months on Effexor XR, I never had an end to the GI problems, and now have an ulcer and acid relfux because of it. I don't know how anyone else reacts to it, but I know that I was nauseated every single day I was on it, and it was awful. So if yours goes away, which I hope it does, you will be much luckier than I.
