There is something I have found that seems to help.... IF you can find meds that you can take only at bedtime that last long enough into the next day to take care of your symptoms, you won't notice the memory impairment as badly during the day while you are trying to function. You said you are taking AP's. Could you try Seroquel only at bedtime? I found that to be easier (mornings were pretty rough though). If you can tolerate Risperdal only at bedtime, that wasn't too disruptive the next day either. SSRI's can vary in how much "name-forgetting" they can cause. I found Prozac the least problematic.

I take all my meds in the a.m. my memory problems start as the drugs wear off in the early evening.

Is your memory problem temporary (as long as your medication is in effect)
or permanent. Usually it is permanent. Haldol is said to help cure
amnesia (forgetfullness) to be specific it helps "working" memory.

I tried it (pdoc perscribed it) and it didn't work but resperidal did.
Good Luck.

Just to add, I had the same problem myself.
And resperidal cured it.

I have been REALLY having memory problems. I'm taking celxa, and I had no idea that it could cause memory issues. I left school two years ago, and my memory was far supieror, but thought it was just because I was out of the loop for a bit.

Then you're in luck that you found me. Talk to a doctor about starting on about
.5 mg of resperidal every day. I was amazed on how the "block" which was there dissapeared and every think started to "flow" again.
It'll help to some degree but might not be sufficient to cure it.
And my memory problem was mainly short-term.

Just thought I'd let you know that you're not alone - I definitely had memory problems while on celexa... both short term & long term.

(fwiw, had even worse problems w/prozac - really bad, & hadn't read about that anywhere w/prozac)
