Officially this combo is contraindicated. But does anyone know if it is safe? i.e. Plenty of things officially contraindicated have been used together no probs.

NO, I have read that Anafranil, in particular, shouldn't be combined with a MAOI...but, for most people A MAOI can be combined with a TCA, but typically ONLY if the MAOI is added to the TCA
