My pdoc just gave me a sample of Strattera -- the pediatric sample (I'm very med-sensitive.)
He said to take it in the morning. I took it around noon, and by 6:00 p.m. was SO SEDATED I HAD to go to sleep. I slept hard for about a half an hour until my daughter woke me up -- now I'm tired and feel a bit medicated, but not like I have to sleep again.
Anyway, I'm wondering if Strattera has affected anyone else in this way? I always tend to react the exact opposite of the way most people do on meds (it's becoming a joke between me and my pdoc.) I've tried most meds out there.
Would taking Strattera at night be an option?... would it still work on my ADD and depression symptoms the next day?
BTW, I am also taking 5 mg. Lexapro at night, and 0.5 mg. Klonapin at night to sleep -- (perhaps if I take Strattera at night I won't need the Klonapin!)
Thanks in advance for any insights or experiences.
Cindy
