Dear River,
I feel the same way you do. I was only partially responding to SSRI's so started Abilify as augmentation. The Abilify helped but I stopped because I gained over 10 pounds in a few weeks. The weight came right off but I became suicidal so I started up again. I got better, emotionally, almost immediately but am again gaining lots of weight. I am sorry to be so negative but I feel like we are all a bunch of guinea pigs, that the medications we are given aren't much better than the illnesses we have. Take care.
