Just wondering if anyone out there has any
knowledge on stimulants and in what cases they
are used for...I know they are used for ADD and things
like that, but I guess I'm more curious about people who
have used them in depression that is characterized by
alot of apathy and inability to get motivated...

I have tried all of the currently available psychostimulants (Ritalin, Adderall, Focalin, Desoxyn, Dexedrine, Provigil, ginseng, ephedra...) to attempt to combat my own mild depression (dysthymia, along with some definite tendency toward apathetic traits), and have found Dexedrine and Provigil to be the two that provide the most relief without causing anxiety. But that's just my personal experience. :-)
