Well I went to a GP because I was having problems with my anxiety and headaches(I thought cutting back on Remeron was doing it) but apparently my blood pressure is borderline high (and I've always had perfect blood pressure!). So he gave me this to try and said itll help with BP but also maybe with anxiety... just wanted to know if anyone takes it, took it, did it do anything for you re anxiety. etc. Of course now I dont have an option about taking it with my blood pressure. Thanks in advance for any responses!

In reply to toprol (metoprolol succinate) anyone try?, posted by highanxiety on December 13, 2002, at 11:09:47
I take toprol for HB and I find that it's pretty good for anxiety as long as you're taking at least 100mg

Dr. is starting me out on only 25...not sure if that amount will have any effect, guess he wants to make sure i tolerate it first.
