Paroxetine

Have been lurking for a few weeks reading interesting posts! Recently began Paroxetine, 20mg/day and have noticed a brightening of my world - but holy am I drowsy. I know that each of us have a different reaction to meds, but in general, does this effect diminish with time? It's only been a few days.

Previously I was on Wellbutrin, 150mg and although I found it a surprising AMAZING aphrodisiac, it didn't do much for my depression/anxiety so I switched to Paroxetine which I know has sexual side effects. I've noticed that some of you combine Wellbutrin with an SSRI. I am tempted but want to know the risks/effects - if any.

Cheers!

When I took paroxetine it left me drowsy for a week or to and then became unnoticable. Several months later I found that it was starting to make me jittery and didn't seem to be doing much for me, and discontinued it.

Your mileage may vary. My wife responds very well to paroxetine.

Keep feeling better,

Britt
