I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I have gained weight with Zoloft. So I figured if I exercised daily I would lose the weight. It's not working, the weight is not coming off. Anyone found an answer to this problem?

YEP. Damn SSRIs are the devil when it comes to weight gain. I've gained almost 40 pounds in less than a year while being on a hefty dose of stimulants. I just keep getting fat and I hate it.

Not sure if this is the answer, but 6 yrs ago while I was on Paxil I had gained alot of weight which would not budge regardless of anything I did. During that time I became very ill, sleeping 16 hrs a day and couldn't do anything the other 8 hrs. Numerous visits to my doctor only resulted in the diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrom. I decided to see a naturopathic doctor who diagnosed me with candidiasis. She put me on a candida cleaning diet and I lost 40 lbs in the the 3 mos I was on it. The weight stayed off even after a switch to Effexor. However, when I stopped taking the Effexor and was put on Risperdal and Amitriptyline, I gained the 40 back. I've lost 30 of it so far while on Remeron without any effort.
