Man,
I took Reboxetine for the first time last night --4mg at 9pm and by 10pm, my depression was worse and by 1am, I had the most excruciating headache. The type of brain squeezing headache that's felt in "major" depression. I couldn't sleep.
I have atypical depression with the "major" depression becoming a bigger factor of the disease.
Today, my doctor said cut the dose to 2mg and take it before bed, but I'm afraid to take this stuff.
Since I have atypical depression, there aren't too many solutions out there, except for the MAOIs, which I don't want to take due to the side effects.
Has anybody had a bad initial experience with Reboxetine and will the headaches and depression go away?
I also heard that this stuff could cause impotency. Any truth to that?
Thx.
Pat

I've been taking 4800 mg Neurontin, but depression has been getting worse. Neurontin helps the anxiety.
I take 2 mg of Klonopin, which is much more potent in treating every symptom except depression
I see a pharmopsychiatrist
behavioral therapy helped but still needed the meds
I was on Nardil for years. gained 60 pounds and developed a tolerance. I was maxing at 150 mg, if you can believe that.
I want no part of Nardil. I love cheese and I especially don't like being obese.
Thx.
