Hello Chocoholic,
Amantadine is a dopaminergic, similar to bromocriptine. I have tried bromocriptine to reverse the sexual side effects of Prozac with little success. (Because the desired sexual effect is losing the grip quite rapidly, as you will not get the same effect next day). Dopaminergics sometimes cause depression, and interestingly sometimes relieve depression also. I got depressed on bromocriptine, as I am very sensitive to dopaminergics.
