I started taking Lamictal about 10 weeks or so ago and am at 150mg/day. I noticed from the very start of taking this that I was having odd, but very fun and cool, dreams that were so vivid, I remember them perfectly and can see them still in my head every morning. I cant recall ever remembering dreams as well or as consecutively like this. However, I have been really tired. Im wondering if the Lamictal is interfering with my sleep and waking me up at the perfect time to remember dreams, but screw up your sleep quality. Because I usually wake up once early in the morning and remember a dream, then go right back to sleep for another couple hours and remember another whole new, different one after that. Anyone else exeperiencing this? Thanks..

When I started Lamictal I definitely seemed to remember more dreams, and I'm tired during the day. I'm on a lot of different meds so I can't say it's the Lamictal for sure.

You're not alone! When I started Lamictal 3 weeks ago I have been having the most vivid, bizarre dreams too. A Psychiatrist once told me that when you start a new med. and you have these kind of dreams, it is a good sign that the med. is starting to or going to work.
