I've used stimulants (Adderall, Provigil) to successfully treat my depression. Recently, however I have had to take increasing doses for them to have any effect. Someone recently suggested I look into taking Deprenyl (with Phenylalanine). Does anyone know anything about this? Can Deprenyl (which is a MAO-B, I think) be taken in addition to stimulants?
Thanks.

I take 5 mg /day selegiline and I'm pretty sure it potentiates the dexedrine I take.
I'd wash out the MAOIs and amphetamines before starting it, though; then re-introduce them after two weeks of 5 mg/day selegiline.
Just a hunch and a personal observation; I haven't any data to back me up.
