What is assumed to be the "safest" anti-psychotic? I hear that Zyprexa, for instance, covers up the TD which could be developing as long as one continues to take it.
Also, are the new atypical APs known to cause neuroleptic malignant syndrome?
Thanks.

Kari,
I've read that there is a new one that will be on the market fairly soon which will carry know risk of TD. Some other people on this board have mentioned it but I can't remember the name of it right now.
I'll post the name on her tomorrow, if nobody else does before me.

Thanks, Denise!
No risk for TD would be great:)

Hi,
TD stands for tardive dyskinesia (neuroleptic- induced involuntary movements).
This is the end of the thread.
