Does anyone know the current status of FDA approval of reboxetine? Also, has anyone used it and if so what is your opinion?

I got several hits from google.com. It appears the FDA denied Pharmacia's application for the US market.

I also heard something about it being denied awhile back - or that it had little chance.
Safe, and novel. I don't know reason - but I have a guess, which is that the very similar "duloxetine" is going to be released in the USA - this is a brand new drug - with full patent life. My opinion is there is a good chance the reason is economics - about money.
Reboxetine is unique - in fact it is even known to reverse (in polypharmacy with Parnate) - to reverse the "tyramine induced hypertensive crisis" issue.
But ... no ... duloxetine - and whoever makes it - they have a similar drug apparently on the way in the near future.
