Wellbutrin - anger, poor judgement

Posted by smiley64 on October 13, 2002, at 10:10:06

I am on Prozac 40mg, Trazadone (100mg), and the doctor added 100mg of Wellbutrin 2 weeks ago. I know it can cause irritation and an increase in anger, but even though I knew this, I did not see it coming. It has been the most intense thing and I have made some really poor decisions. I don't want to blame it all on the medicine, but this was highly out of character for me.
Please Help. This is the first combination that has worked to alleviate the depression and I would like to try to stay on it. Any advise or comments?

smiley64,

Use the search function on this site to search the archieves for Wellbutrin information and anger. There have been many posts over the years discussing anger and irritability on WB.

Good luck.

I am one of those who was not able to stay on Wellbutrin because of irritability. There were definite pluses about the drug, but the irritability was a big enough minus that I had to go off. I actually tried it again a couple more times before finally deciding that this drug is not the right one for me.

Best wishes in your search.
