Hi All,
Following on from the recent thread titled "Paxil - Remeron - Clonazepam - Social Anxiety"
I've just met with my pdoc and agreed as follows:
Upped remeron to 45mg.
Added 3mg bromazepam prn. No more than 1-2 / week.Any experiences with Bromazepam for SA/SP induced panic or any other anxiety/panic for that matter?
Thanks,
K23d

After about 8-9 years, Bromazepam is still my no. 1 med. I think it works wonders with an antidepressant. It can even out my anxiety fairly quickly, and no other benzo seems to work so well with me. I use it PRN, and to this day it still works wonders at the same dose. (One 3mg tablet.)
Good luck.

Hi Jay,
Just a quick follow up question...
How do you time your PRN usage? And do you use it on empty or full stomach?
I've tried 1.5mg and 3mg at between 30 minutes or 4 hours from a panic causing situation and found little effect. Just wanted to know how you use it?Thanks,

Hello,
I tried bromazepam sometime ago for both generalized and social anxiety. I found it to be less effective than alprazolam. But when I did use it, I took between 3-6 mg BID-TID prn. I have found that putting the tablet under your tongue really does speed onset of action.HTH,
Brian
