Hi,
My doctor has suggested a very low dose of Zyprexa to control anxiety and OCD (I'm also depressed). Has anyone heard of it used for this purpose? She says it may stabilize ups and downs in my mood, anxieties, and compulsions.
I have already tried several of the standard SSRI's but the sexual side effects are too much. She's already giving me Klonopin to help reduce anxiety so I can sleep, which is one reason she has suggested not to use Wellbutrin.
I was hoping Lexapro might be a help but since its new she's recommending to wait.
Thanks.

>I also use zyprexa for both anxiety and OCD. It's works well but I may have developed some movement disorders from it. I have this weird twitch throughout my body that I never had before starting Zyprexa. I know they say the chance of developing TD from an atypical is almost 100% impossible, but I'm not so sure. Just be careful.

Can I ask what strength you are on? I wonder if that side effect will diminish over time...
