Paxil is a good drug. It has worked for me for 6+ years for panic disorder and depression. I tried other drugs, most recently Celexa and I get anxious in the car when driving. I am back on Paxil but getting tired once again.
I take 40mg at night. I also take Klonopin .5 x 3 daily. I have cut this amount down over the years. I can also lower this dose of KP but normally take around this dose.
Does anyone have a similar experience. Should I try lowering the Paxil dose? I have tried other drugs, but never Zoloft? Does Zoloft make you sleep?
Thanks

I think all SSRI's have the apathy syndrome. I was on Paxil for 3-4 years but my doc also prescribed Ritalin. If he didn't, I probably would never have gotten off the couch.
If it works for you, try to augment it w/ a stim or Wellbutrin. If that doesn't help, I would wait for Lexapro, the new drug from Forest Labs.
Single isomer Celexa. I hope it will have less SE.

And what do you mean by "less PA"? SOrry, I'm just out of the loop today, but curious.
