I have found zyprexa to be about all that works for my anxiety. I have been taking only 1.25mm/day and am still extremely tired. I'm wondering if another might be as helpful, but less sedating.

I have found Risperdal to be the best for anxiety, and it doesn't make me sleepy at all.

I've been taking it for about 2 months. It has worked well, but made me a zombie (more so recently). I didn't really have any other side effects other than dry mouth at the beginning. Let me know if you have more specific questions.

wow... i don't know your case but i wonder if you could you just decrease the dose? ... or is that dose required to get rid of enough anxiety to let you function well ?
.... when you say zombie do you mean physically tired/fatigued and sedated/sleepy .... or do you just mean blunted emotion? .. like... your moods are just less intense ?
....

I take 1.25 mg. That's half of the smallest pill they make. It makes me so exhausted that it adds some depression and I'm almost literally stumbling around. I'm doing my best to wean off now with the help of some valium. It's been tough, but I think I'll be better off. Zyprexa was a very good drug for me though. After a few months though it seems to ave really built up in my system.
