ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS FOR DEALING WITH THE "BRAIN SWOOSHING" IN GETTING OFF OF THE EFFEXOR CRAP? I JUST DON'T WANT TO TAKE IT ANYMORE BUT THIS DIZZIES ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY AND WHEN I GET TOO DIZZY, I JUST WANT TO CRY.

I know Wellbutrin is helpful for getting off Paxil, so you may want to try that. If you talk to your doctor about this, they probably would go along with it because Wellbutrin is often second-line therapy after SSRI's. I used Wellbutrin to get off Paxil and had no side effects.

Shawn T. how long did it take before your wellbutrin started making you feel better? I'm going from Effexor to Wellbutrin and it's been 2 weeks of nothingness.

I would say about three weeks, but it can take as long as two months for everything to kick in.
