I've moved out of US, I now live in a country where I cannot get Wellbutrin. (They have Zyban here, the doc cannot by law write it for depression). Wellbutrin is the one thing that worked for me. Any suggestions what I could take instead (cannot take amphetamines)
Came home from doc's office with a prescription for Remeron 30mg, I also take buspar 15mg BID... Would this be a decent substitute? What kind of side effects should I expect.
Thanx for taking interest on this. You know, I'm in a foreign country, without my meds, a pretty damn alone.

I would decide to stop smoking and visit a (different) doctor for some assistance with that. (Of course you smoke, or weren't you aware of that habit?) Also it would seem you require a rather large daily dose of zyban to help you quit as the smaller doses have little effect....

What is your diagnosis?
In any case, if you think WB and stimulants would work for you, then another stimulating compound might help you. I recommend desipramine, since I know it well, but there are others such as MAOIs, which I don't know well...-Raga
