Naturemade Sam-e has 1,4 butanedi sulfonate while Nutralife Sam-e has tosylate disulphate. What is the difference? I find that the Naturemade brand works for me. Does that mean that Nutralife will work just as well? If www.puritan.com has Sam-e on sale for $12.00 regular price $73.00 what does that mean?

I know my shrink only uses the Australian made SAM-e, and sorry I don't know which one that is (since I can't take it- I would get manic). But he has had great succes with his panic/depression patients. Good luck- Judy

Hi,
My friend does marketing and promotions for Naturemade and she swears that Naturemade is the better. She had to sift through hundreds of literature on Naturemade's Sam-e compared to other brands and tons of trials that were done...so I'd go with Naturemade.
(No, I don't work for Naturemade and I don't think she'd just say this - she's been taking it and feels great!)

Dear Sarah
Thank you for the info. I have always used Naturemade SAM-e but it is so expensive. I live in Canada and it costs me double. But it is my health and Naturemade is working for me...Is there anyone out there who knows the best way for a Canadian to get SAM-e? It costs another $60.00 once it is at the border! It is not sold in Canada. Costco does not mail anything to Canada even though we have Costco here. I have heard something about Sam's Club and www.puritan.com.
I also would like to know what is considered a 3 month supply since we are limited to that amount.
This is the end of the thread.
