which ones are they? i tried 17 damn meds and ECT and still no relief for my suicidal depression and anxiety. i want to live my damn life and stimulants seem to work 100% of the time for depression.so i want one. what do i tell a doctor? and which ones are safest??? most easy to get???
please let me know

In my opinion, you can rule out desoxyn (methamphetamine). Ritalin, dexedrine, and adderall are freely prescribed about equally in my experience. If you have trouble getting these, there are alternatives like Provigil (modafinil). You can always aquire adrafinil (which modafinil is an analogue of) online for a relatively cheap price. But don't get caught up in treating yourself, your odds are much better working with an expert psydoc. An expert psychiatrist will have no problem prescribing stims when appropriate. It's not hard to find a good doctor. Do you have someone who could do the research and look for a doctor for you?
I wish I knew what it was like to be you. I do know what it's like to have no hope and breathe anyway... why don't we get any credit for suffering? You must have superhuman strength. Hang in there, Adamie. Even if one more moment if far too long to suffer, time is still on your side. Things will get better. 17 drugs and ECT may seem like the end of the line, but there are many things left to try.

I recommend trying Concerta. It is a 12 hour ritalin with much lower side effects than the old ritalin and less addictive than Adderall. Plus, with it lasting 12 hours, the level of the medication stays even within your body for 12 hours. (the whole day). So it is convient too. Plus the side effects are not as bad as Adderall, as Adderall has worse effects on the heart.
