oxiracetam, musicians? focus and memory

Posted by kirknickols on May 4, 2002, at 9:50:04

Hello,

Funny enough, I have found oxiracetam to be effective in helping my performance, as well as taking the curb off of the nervousness. Even though I have only taken it less than a dozen times, it seems to also be helping my focus and concentration in everyday life, also helped me get up on time in the mornings.

I want to start taking this full time, but the only downside is the expense! Anyone out there know of anything similiar or more cost effective for something like this?

More specifically, I am looking for something that will not interupt my motor skills, but at the same time keep my mind relaxed and focused.

But so far, knock on wood, oxiracetam seems to be the magic bullet for me! I have mainly only started taking it before rehersals, and have felt a night and day difference so far. I have a gig tonight so the real results are yet to come.

My usual symptoms are spacey-ness, (did lots of pot years ago), and nervousness (anxiety).

I have tried piracetam but did not like it one bit. What about the other nootropics out there?

Thanks much!

KN
