Question? I am starting a new regime of Celexa 20 mg with Risperdal .5 mg. The pdoc gave me samples to take and said I could take half doses to begin with as I usaually start off on small doses then move up. Does anyone have experience taking these two together? (and the doses) I had been taking Zoloft for 7 years and recently stopped and started on Wellbutrin SR but could not tolerate it and had to stop after a month. I am hopeing this new combo will work. My diagnosis (as of today) is bipolar but it is not as intense as my moms is/was...

I am responding to my own post as I still need answers. After 5 days on this, I am feeling pretty good. There is one thing. I am lactose intolerant and these are both lactose based. (which gives me diarhea even if it is a small dose, like in bread or vitamins. Is there a site that tells one about generic equivalents or can these be prescribed in a non lactose base. I will ask my pdoc but don't want to spend to much of the hour talking meds....
