Hi Emme,
How nice of you to ask about me. I have been sitting back and lurking a bit more. I have found the tone of the board a little intense of late, so I am just reading, and learning. BTW, I really enjoyed Dr. Kramer's contributions. He was very generous to give us some much of his time and expertise.

I am having some really good mood stretches where I will have a week or so without any major crashes or dysphoric/agitated moods. I get alot done in that time and feel quite ambitious, but I am always so disappointed when I fall hard. I recover faster, these days. But why can't I learn that I am NOT cured!?! I am going to have crashes...so I am trying not get so down on myself about it.

The addition of a small amount of depakote to the little bit of lithium and neurontin has really evened me out and cooled my snappy temper. I am very glad to have Dep. on board, but I don't like it's notorious side effects. I am hungry all the time, trying to avoid the depakote twenty! I also love my 20 mgs of amitriptyline(TCA). I sleep so well now. I am realizing that since the advent of the SSRI, I have not slept soundly! I am so glad that the TCA's are back in my med regime, with about a milligram of Celexa!

How are you fairing these days? Have you gotten stabilized on some good meds? I know you had a tough time there for a while. Love to hear how you are doing. And thanks for looking in on me :)

Hi Chloe,

Glad to hear you're having some good stretches. Smart of you to make the most of them while you've got them. I find it's hard to forgive myself for unproductive time. Gotta try. I hope your current combo continues to help as much as possible. I'm a zombie right now, so I need to sign off in a minute. I'm not sure about naltrexone. I seem to not want to do much except sleep and/or stare. A few more days of playing with dose before I ditch it. Lamictal is making a good baseline antidepressant at least.
