Anyone who HAS lost hair on Depakote have any sort of treatment or *antidote* for it? My pdoc is having me take Selenium and Zinc, which she says should address the problem, based on experience with a few other patients. Anyone out there hear of this and know if it works? Anyone have any other remedies/treatments/antidotes for hair loss from Depakote? Thanks.

Selenium and Zinc are good stand bys.And please don't fall into a trap of combing your hands through your hair and finding a few strands of hair fall out or looking on your pillow at a few strands of hair and thinking you are losing hair. Your body naturally sheds hair, and if you start to really focus on it, you will start to notice how it happens (naturally). If the depakote is causing hair loss you would see *major* clumps of hair falling out.

John
