getting off 6weeks of klnopin 1mg?

I don't know how much to wean but I don't think it's big enough dose or time period to be too bad. Used it to get over initial celexa agitation and now I'm overited and etc. maybe go to half mg for week then stop?

Hi,

I think different people are different. For me, I've never had a major problem with getting off of it but was never on it for more than a few weeks either. The biggest problem for me was rebound anxiety. You may be surprised how much klonopin is actually doing for you. I never take things slow and so I suffered a rough couple of days after going cold turkey off of .5mg of Klonopin. If you are not at risk for suicide, I'd say pick your favorite pain killer and follow your original plan. If it gets bad, start taking .25 for a week and try again.
