Hello,
I've been lurking on psycho-babble for a while and would like to know about experiences with this alternative treatment for bipolar.
EM Power+ is a cocktail of orthomolecular supplements based on pig feed supplements the promoters of which (True Hope) claim excellent results for bipolar disorder.
I recall someone here mentioning using it recently and would love to have more info about it from people who have tried it.
Thanks for your help.

Here is a link to one of the threads in the archives that address your question. To find more, search the past years using key words such as "pig pills", "EM Power", "Truehope", etc.

I had read that thread. What i meant to ask was if anyone here has had experience with EM Power+ since that thread which was nearly a year ago.
Thanks

yes, but fortunately the experience is indirect.
Health Canada shut down the *research* at U Calgary
& issued cease and desist notices to the salespeople
http://www.healthwatcher.net/Quackerywatch/Synergy/indexhumor, or not: tho the PI has worked with this product for
close to 5 yrs, she has yet to provide any evidence that this
*stuff* or *nutritional supplements* of any sort are used to
treat porcine tail-biting syndrome.i still find it amazing that it took so long for folks to figure
out that a former dogfood salesman conducting human subject research
is a *bad* thing...cheers,

This is the end of the thread.
