Cutting

Where is one likely to leave fewer scars in cutting? My arms are all scarred, and that bothers me a lot. Is there a part of the skin that heals better? Legs, thighs? Also, are there better materials to cut with? Many use blades, but that doesn't appeal to me, I generally use broken glass, or sharp, dirty stuff. Would blades leave fewer scars? Jen

Are you cutting yourself? If so, I don't think I have to tell you this but that's not healthy. I know a friend of mine who was into cutting herself, I never really understood this. I hope that's not your situation. If that is the case, I suggest seeing a doctor ASAP.

Some cutters suggest using ice instead of something that really cuts, because it hurts too (so cold). Or a red marker.
I don't cut, but I thought I'd tell you what I have heard.

p.s. One person once said she tries at least 7 other activities before she resorts to cutting.

Do you really, seriously think we are going to answer a question like that? Help you figure out how better to cut yourself? Cutting is a problem. Doing it is not the solution.

Yea well cutting is a major problem. I used 2 do it when i feel the urge to cut i take a soft rubber band or something hat bounces back fast nd snap it on ur wrist a few times it makes u feel like u r cutting but doesn't leave any marks. I was scared to tell my mom but i did and it helped If that doesn't help do some research ur may need serious help or maybe just a good friend sometimes both. Good Luck
