Me, too! that is why I quit taking my effexor on March 3. This is the end of day six -- med free!

Constipation, headaches, sharp stomach pains, stupid homework assignments, progress that can be timed in decades, no alcohol, no weed, prunes, costs a fortune, meds to treat the side-effects of meds.
But apart from that, meds and shrinks are great 8-]

Hey Pete,
Ya love it and ya hate it. My med-free mind is a little confused. Do you think I'll ever get better?
today is day eleven without meds. One bad headache, a little dizziness and confusion. We'll see what happens next!!

Mmmm, effexor withdrawal, been there and it was a pretty abysmal experience for me - sounds like you're not doing too bad so far thank goodness.
Sue, I've no idea whether you'll get better or not. I think most people do eventually find something that helps and makes them feel at least a bit better but not so many find somthing that "fixes" their heads. The question that I find myself facing is "at what level of life-quality to I stop searching?". People often report that going back to a previously tried drug has the effect that the drug no longer works so it's not like you can try them all and then pick your favourite. I guess the first step is finding *something* that helps to take away the severity. For me it is Zyban [so far anyway :-) ].
<End of largely directionless ramble>
Take care Sue,
pete.

Anyway, what is Zyban?
sincerely,
Sue Doe
