Does anyone know what new meds are going to becoming available in the US in the somewhat near future?

Lexapro should be available in the US in June. It has the same active ingredient as Celexa. But it is more purified than Celexa and has shown less side effects in clinical trials.
I think the maker of Prozac, Lilly, is coming out with a promising new AD but I forgot the details.

I hope Lexapro is avail. in June like Bill said. I am a citalopram responder, but dose-limited due to side effects. The Lilly drug is duloxetine. It is suppoed to be similar to Effexor, but with much less tendency to raise blood pressure. The earliest I heard that one could be available here would be December or very early 2003.Mitch
