I'm thinking Lamictal flu symptoms maybe
caused by dopamine reuptake properties. I had
REALLY bad flu symptoms when I took Mirapex, which
is a dopamine agonist.Curiosly when I get to a certain dose of Lamictal it seems to numb out my
emotions. I'm thinking the dopamine reuptake property
if it exists may be leaving dopamine in autoreceptors
that are in turn diminishing the release of dopamine.
Maybe there is a tug of war between autoreceptors that
activate flu symptoms, euphoria , etc and that also
feedback to diminish dopamine release. In my case I'm
thinking the feedback dominates.
Kind of backwards from what others experience.
Thoughts?Regards.
